Consultation 02 - March 01. Mladá Boleslav Castle.

The project is being developed right below the Castle of Mladá Boleslav. In future steps, a connection between the castle and the other side of the river will be carried out. But for the moment, it is important to develop adequately the access to the castle from the Nádražní street.

Location

Currently, there is a building just below the castle, that damages the view of the castle from the other side of the river, and even more from the lower street.

For that reason, to develop de project, it is considered to remove the building, which is a warehouse building with a key copy store, in order to recompose the hill that sustains the castle.

Intervention

Once this intervention is carried out, there is a big chance of possibilities to develop a path into the project, in order to develop it adequately. Some of the different possibilities and chances can be seen in the figure below.

Intervention possibilities

One important topic to consider is that the spot for the project is not really big. That is why it is important to calculate if the "path" which is about to develop is not too inclinated, since the hight between plains is around 16 m. In the figure below there is a simulation of the path's shape with stairs of 30x15cm ratio and plain spaces of 15 m long.
